Paul Edmunds

I qualified as a solicitor in July 1984, having trained in the City. From then until 1996 I worked in my home town in Kent doing mostly residential and commercial property, with some involvement in corporate mergers and acquisitions.

In 1996 I joined Ashtead Group PLC as its in-house Solicitor, and as well as the commercial property and corporate work, I added Employment Law to my repertoire.

I returned to private practice in 2003 and joined Gowen & Stevens LLP in June 2012. I have over 25 years of experience dealing with employment tribunal claims, mainly acting for employers.

On average I deal with approximately 60 to 70 settlement agreements each year. This is largely for employees but I have also acted for employers in the drafting of settlement agreements.
